Form Math

I am new to Access. And am building a DB for my employer. Two of the forms have the following fields:


1) HoursAdded, Rate, and Amount
2) HoursUsed, Rate, and Amount

I need to be able to multiply the Form hours fields by the Form Rate field to populate the Form Amount field. I cannot use calculated Table Fields as the Hours fields are different, while the Amount & Rate fields are the same. I have tried everything I can think of, and have looked in help, read, and searched online, but still am stumped. Any help you can give would be appreciated.
