Hide subform and clear the space left

Hi all.Is there a way to hide the subform in a main form and clear the space which is blank? I mean when I made the subform visible property to false it still takes some space in the main form, could I make it disappear completely and it did not take some space any more until I set the visible proper to true?
    Any comment appreciate!

what would be easier here for you, would be to come up with a workaround idea. Like opening a new form? Or picking a different display option? Or putting some text in the area when the sub is not visible??

I'm sure you could size the form in vba, but that would more than likely require messing with 'twips', and IMO, they're a pain in the rear to deal with.

    Thank you adam.
Sometimes I just have too many ideas I think... lol
Putting some text in the area where the sub is when it's not visible and opening a new form are good ideas, I'll think about that.

Hey Adam, I have another question.
As I know, you can use Access as the background program to store data, and make the browser as the front end.And the browser can do a better job to act as an interface. So why do people keep developing Access?
Sorry for my poor english, hope you get what I mean.

I don't understand what you mean. The browser is a better interface?? I don't get it.

The browser is never a front end. It's a display tool for server databases, but it's not a front end.

I mean using the browser as a display tool exactly, I think it may be much better if we use the browser as a display tool
So why do people keep developping the access?

Why do you think they do? My opinion does not matter. Right?

That's like asking me why the president keeps printing money for bailouts. What I say has no relevance.
