Master Detail Web Form - Access 2010.

    Hi,

I've used Access for several years - but Access 2010 only recently.
This is my first time trying to create a Web Form for data entry.
I have two tables that I want to enter Data into.
    One has the Master record.
The other one may have 'Many' records for each record in the Master table.
I'd like to design a form that allows users to enter the master record [which will update the Master table] and then after saving the Master record, allow the user to enter one or more records for the same ID into the 'Many' table.
I want to do this with as little fuss as possible - making data entry as fluid as possible [do I need to worry about setting focus and tab order & things that I've been used to doing with previous versions of Access? I'm hoping Access 2010 will take care of all that but I'd like to be able to handle that if I NEED to].
I'd appreciate any help I can get.
If this has already been explained in a previous thread, please point me in the direction!!
    Thanks In Advance!!!

I posted this question before and got no replies. Please help if you think you have an answer. . . even if the answer is 'It can't be done!'
    Thanks!!

Smile I've solved this problem. :)

I was approaching this wrong by thinking that I HAD to have the related column in my 'many' table set up as a 'Lookup . . .' field.

First of all - I removed the Lookup Field and made it a regular field - same data type as the related field on the main form.

Then - all I needed to do was drop the 'many' form onto the Main form and then click the button to the right of the Link Child Fields in the properties for the 'sub form'. That led me through the process of linking the fields on the main & sub forms.

    That's all.

Perhaps it was too easy for anyone to bother replying?
