Help adding data to multiple tables using one form

I am trying to create a database to manage animals on my hobby farm. Three tables are relevant to this question:
    1) Animals (Contains details about the animal)
    2) Expenses (Contains bill/payment information)
    3) Medical Records
What I am trying to do is create a form where in the first box I select the animal name then after that enter the expense information and details of the medical procedure.
This form will create a new record in expenses and medical which are associated with the animal in question based on the animal name which is pulled from the animals table.

Sounds simple but I have been going round and around in circles with this for days and am unable to create the correct relationships to make this happen.

Thank You in advance for anyone willing to take a look

    Mark

Don't have 2007 on this machine, but I assume an animal can have multiple expense and medical records. Presuming so, I'd expect a form bound to the animals table with subforms bound to each of the other tables. Is that what you've got?

Paul, I am new to Access and yes, what you presume is correct, however, whether I actually have that is in question - I am trying to achieve what you describe in a single form so it is simple enough for my young daughter to enter information but I just can't get it so when I pull up the animal name it creates a new record in the other two tables
