Update the Date on a revised Record

In Access 2003, I used a macro to update the date on a changed record from the form property - AfterUpdate. It is not working in Access 2007. The macro used SetValue, Item: [Form]... Expression: Date(). How do I update this field with current date in Access 2007. Thanks!
