Formating a control in MS Access Reports

Hi everybody.I find this forum very useful and this is my first interaction

I want to format Report Heading. It is based on date controls in a query builder as follows:

    ="Report as of "&Format$([Date Control],'mmmm dd, yyyy')&"."

If I put 11/15/08 in the date control the Heading will print as,

Report as of November 15, 2008.

Is it possible that the date control can be formatted to display in heavy font with underline as follows:

Report as of Nevember 15, 2008.

    Thank you

Put the "Report as of " in a label and the date in a TextBox of its own. Then change the font of the TextBox to BOLD and UNDERLINE.

Thank you very much for the reply.
I have earlier used the suggested method. What I really want to know is, whether it is possible to format the control within the syntax itself. What I gave is an example.
I am using MS Access Reports to generate letters, in which controls are included. If I use Labels as suggested, sometimes the gap i leave for the controls are short and overlap on the labels.
    I need more advice.
    Thanks

Perhaps with a Rich Text control. I've not used them so I'm not sure. Access 2007 has one and Stephan Lebans developed one for prior versions. http://www.lebans.com/richtext.htm
