Sum Query Fields in an Access Report

I have been trying to figure this out can someone please tell me what I have wrong in this equation. It works in 3 other places on the same report but for some reason particular field will not sum. This is what I have in the "Control Source" of the report field.

    =Sum([4000GCPConsult]+[4100GCPTravel]+[4200GCPPM]+[Expenses])

If it's working elsewhere on the same report, it's probably the location. Where do you have it? Sum won't work in the page footer, only group and report footers.

All of the sums are being calculated in the report footer. I'm completely baffled by this.

You're saying that formula works in one place on the report but not another? What error do you get? Can you post the db?

No error appears it shows as $0.00 and there is data in the fields I'm adding. Unfortunately, I cannot post the DB.

Thank you for your help. I turns out that it was hidden in plain sight. The fields that were being calculated were not all populated with a "0" so it was unable to sum the fields.

Glad you got it sorted out. I should have mentioned that as a possibility earlier, but it threw me off when you said the same calc was working elsewhere on the report. I assume you used the Nz() function on the values, or perhaps make sure Nulls couldn't get into the data in the first place.
