Help !!! unrecognised database format, no backup

ive been working on a new db in access 2010 so its a accdb file, but my computer went down i managed to copied the db onto another computer which ive now installed access 2007 to, but when i try to open it i get the message unrecognised database format, is there anyone of you wonderful lot ( notice the sucking up going on here) that could retreive this data. please help someone. and yes i know its my own fault for not backing it up, i will never make that mistake again.

there is no solution to this right now, that I know of. You're stuck, basically. If you go back to 2010, it will probably still work fine, but I have this same problem myself, and I haven't found a fix to it, as of yet.

I believe it has something to do with the new system tables that are created in 2010, but I'm not 100%.

It seems that only Access 2010 could open Access 2010 database file.

Ask someone who have Access 2010 for help
and then ask him to create a new access 2007 format database so that it could import all data from your 2010 access database and then send back to you.

In fact, you could help yourself if you have 2010 access installed.
Just create a virtualbox to install 2010 access and do it yourself.
