    query

Hi i am new to Access and am using a database that lists products in the ingredients.
I have created a query to look for products with "abcd" ingredient.
In some cases however i may only know the first bit of the ingredient. Ie i want to know all ingredients that start with "ab". Can you tell me how to do this. I am sure it is design view and will be a string of some sort but can't work it out.
    Thanks

..... ingredient_name Like "ab*" <-ab at start of name
..... ingredient_name Like "*ab*" <- ab anywhere in the name
..... ingredient_name Like "*ab" <-ab at end of name
