    Help With Macro's

New to access ... I am trying to execute what I think is a pretty straightforward macro without success.

    Here is the summary:

-I have two tables ... Contacts and Quotes.
-Under Contacts, I have a field called Full Name
-Under Quotes, I have a field called Contact 1

I am trying to add in a "Before Change" macro which raises an error when someone tries to enter an name in Contact 1 on the Quotes Table when there does not exist a matching name in the Full Name field on the Contacts Table.

    Please help.

You don't need a macro for this. If you have the proper relationship set in your relationship window, Access will do this by default. Do a google search for database relationships.
