    Unhappy Subform won't display data

I created a subform which is embedded by wizard in a form, except that the data does display in the sub, in Design View, but not in Form View. The main form displays it's own data, but the sub area is blank. Everything I have tried for four hours or more; nothing helps.

As above, the data is there and displays when the sub is opened separately, but not when it's in the parent Form. I am not using any programing, only forms, queries, macros etc.

    Greatly appreciate clues!

A SubForm has a "filter" of sorts in the LinkChild/MasterFields properties. Whay you describe indicates there are no records that match these properties and you probably have the AllowAdditions property of the SubForm set to NO.
