Problems opening my database. Error 3051

I created a database did some stuff on it, and then saved it, and closed it. The next day i tried to open it and the message that came up was:

The Microsoft Access database engine cannot open the file <name>. It is already opened exclusively by another user, or you need permission to view its data. (Error 3051)

I don't know what i would of done to cause this problem, i would i fix it?

See if there is an .ldb file hanging out and delete it.
