    navigation form problem

    Hello everybody!

    I use access 2010

I have made 2 related tables (one to many relationship) and a navigation form with two tabs (one for each table).
whenever I add data in the main form and press the second tab to continue adding data into the second form , the id box does not being updated automatically (for the same record) in the second form.
    Why does it happen????

    Thanks in advance!!!!!!!

    We normally use a MainForm/SubForm arrangement to show/edit a 1:m relationship.
