    Sharing a data base

I am going to store my data baes on a server at work. How do I enable four or five people access to this data base on a read only basis and full access to myself. Can many view at the same time if so how do I enable this function. Security how can I stop it from being copied or corrupted as well I have heard about front end and back end how does this work.
