    Update Querry

I have a large table which contains the following fields:
    Part number
    Descritpion
    Cost
    List

When the supplier sends a new file the prices are all updated and new part numbers are added. Sometimes part numbers change up or suspercede to a new number. When a number changes up, the description field contains "Use #########" ####### being the new number, cost and list price field are then empty.

I want to create a querry that will find the new part number in the table and update cost and list of the OLD part number with the new pricing.

Not sure how to being on this one any help would be great.

    Thanks in advance
    Dj
