    Access novice help with refresh/requery

My goal is to have a form that displays my subform (to add records) and the query (the result of those additions) display on one screen.

I've created all three. How can I make my "submit" button the form automatically requery the table and display the newly added record?

You do realize you do not need a "Submit" button, right?

Well, no. How does the user signal the data is done being entered. Is there a better way? is there a way to make my button do what I wanted? Thanks for the answer

When you move the focus from the SubForm to the MainForm, the record in the SubForm is saved automatically. When you close the MainForm, the current record is saved.
