How do I know if I have a Sharepoint server?

Ok now that I have Access 2010, I'm creating my database in a web based format so I can run it off a browser. I understand the steps in Access 2010 to publish, but how do I know if my server is a sharepoint server?? I do have 2 options my current website provider or Comcast. I have to ask my provider if his servers are sharepoint. Comcast business class, which is what I have, gives me a sharepoint site (which I don't think is the same thing or will work) and I get a 3 page website with 20mb of space. What are the requirements outside of Access needed to publish this thing?

    Thanks in advance!

servers that are available with internet servers are probably not ever sharepoint servers. Regardless though, the software needs to be installed for that stuff to run. website servers are NOT, if you have purchased a hosting plan.
