How to Link individual folders to individual records in MS Access?

As the title says, i would like to know if it possible to link a different folder to each of the records in my database.



For example , i have 5 records of students in access and i have created 5 different folders in their names. Now i want to link the folders to their apporpriate folder, maybe via a button or a link. can it be done ?

Also is it possible to make the system automatically create a folder for each record entered ?

Can this be done ? or will i have to look for another software that will allow me to do tasks like this ?

you cannot link folders, but you can use code and properties to make it look that way. this is such a common question.

how do you wanna do it?

what I usually do is used blue colored underlined text, tell access to use a hyperlink hand on hover, and then sit back and smile at the users who didn't think it could be done.

it can't in a table. Not easy.

in a form, use one control. control formatting stays the same on each record. so...folder addresses in the table, a control bound to that field, and the formatting applied.
