Autonumber with Text

Is it possible to have an Autonumber field with text preceeding? What I want is to display "MET-" in front of the number. Any recommendations? Thanks in advance for your help.

You can just use a normal autonumber field, and on forms/reports display it like:

="MET-" & FieldName

or to pad zeros into the number

="MET-" & Format(FieldName, "00000")

My problem is this...I need the user to be able to select the number out of a combo box. How could I display the "MET-" & [AutoNumber Field]?

A combo row source of:

SELECT AutonumberField, "MET-" & AutonumberField
FROM TableName

with the bound column set to 1 and the column widths set to 0";1" should display the formatted number but use the actual number.
