    create rows from field

Can anyone think of a way to turn a query with 2 fields like this:

    Item Qty
    Apple 3

Into multiple rows based on the "Qty" field, like this:

    Item
    Apple
    Apple
    Apple

Thanks in advance for your help!

make use of excel's transpose feature.

or use recordsets and start those good 'ol iterations in access.
