    Criteria Definition

    I have a query and report setup that shows that followinf record:

    Ref no. - Open Date - Amount Held - Amount Released - Closed Date


    I want to work out how much stock is on hold between two dates.
    However, I cannot work out the criteria for deducting the amount on hold less the amount reworked because it always shows records that are open and closed.


    I want to total the amount held then deduct the rework amount but still only show the records that are open - leaving the balance.
    I don't want to show the records that are closed because it gives a figure of 0.
    I hope this makes sense? :?

    I am sorry, but I cannot figure out what you need. Please take a step back and do the following:

    1) Post the SQL statement for the query

    2) For the tables involved in that query, list the fields and data types

    3) Explain again in words what the report is supposed to accomplish.

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
