Wink Importing Xls and CSV files into MS Access

    Hi:

I have created relation schema using and SQL. But if I try to import data from fileswith extension Xls and CSV into existing table on MS Access , however at the end they cannot be imported. Instead I receive the following message:

The contents of fields in 0 record(s) were deleted, and 51 record(s) were lost due to key violations. *If data was deleted, the data you pasted or imported does not match the field types or the FieldSize property in the destination table, If records were lost either the records you pasted contain primary key values that already exist in the destination table, or they violate referential intergrity rules for a relationship defined between tables. Do you want to proceed anyways.

I have been trying to troubleshoot the problem but with no success.
Can anybody help me to figure out what is the problem?

    Regards

    Jeff

There must be some key fields set as unique and your import data violate this rule.
Check your data first to prevent this or
just uncheck the key field uniquesnes and import again.
