    Import File Names

Got a folder with about 100 files in it and would like to create a table of the file names. Is there any way to import file names into a table other than hand typing them in?

    Thanks

yes there is. allen browne has an excellent folder picker script here: http://allenbrowne.com/ser-59.html

alternatively, his other example does exactly this: http://allenbrowne.com/ser-59alt.html

keep those pages in your bookmarks, as you'll probably need it frequently. I copied that code and suited for me, and I constantly use portions of it.

    no problem.

most of his pages are extremely useful, so you may consider going there and browsing often. Some of the content is outdated and not really useful anymore, but most of it is still fine to use and adapt.
