Post User friendly drop boxes in forms that change according to the endusers selections

    Hello everyone,
I currently have a school project using access 2007, Its a Database for the Discipline department. I made a table for students, their teachers, Grades etc. The problem is on the form I want the client to be able to write a detention paper using the information from the tables. Any end user should by beginby choosing the Grade using a drop box method and then then when choosing the class, Access automatically narrrows down the choices according to Grade choosen and shows all the classes for the grade choosen in a drob box. After choosing the class , i need access to show all the students for that class in another drop box.

Thanks in advance, Iam new to access so I appreciate the help.

Not sure I understand; the source of the data wouldn't really matter to the method, as long as the key from one table was in the next (like a class table would need a grade field). What does your data look like?

Theres a students table , teachers table, grade table , and sections table.

A teacher or any user should have a form on this form she selects the grade ( for example 10) and then access shows under section all the sections that 10th grade has (a1,a2,a3), then the user selects a1, then access shows all student who attend section a1.

Why don't you give it a try, and if it doesn't work post a sample db with your tables and your effort?

No thnks friend, I solved the problem by just making a simple query for each Grade and section in the school. And on a form a button was made for each query. I appreciate the help, very much God bless u.
