Total Number of Fields allowed on a Form

Can anyone tell me if there is a limit to the amount of data fields you can place on a form?

    Thanks,

From the help file for Access XP:

Number of controls and sections you can add over the lifetime of the form or report: 754

The limit may be different for other versions.
