Hi guys.

I've got an Access database here that was created automatically by a program we use here (ID Works). It's got a few fields, including name, encoded number and photo. The photo field is where I'm having problems.

It's stored as a 'Long Binary OLE object', and whenever I try to view it, I get:

Quote:
A problem occured while Microsoft Access was communicating with the OLE Server or ActiveX Control.

Close the OLE server and restart it outside of Microsoft Access. Then try the original operation again in Microsoft Access.

If I create a report or form, the photo field shows up as an empty box. No photo inside. I've also tried opening any programs that the images may be associated with, and then opening the db - no luck there either.

I've Googled the problem a fair bit, and found others with the same problem, but no real solution.

Anyone got any ideas on how I could view/extract the photos from this DB? Would save a LOT of work
