Need guidance with forms/drop down list in access

Hello. Apologies in advance if this issue has already been addressed somewhere. I'm pretty much a novice, so the lingo can be baffling.

I am attempting to set up a form in Access which has a drop-down list that you can select your items from. What I'm trying to create is an order form, so when I select an item, it auto populates with the description, product number, cost....I have been successful in doing that, hooray! However, I would like to have multiple line items on the form, so I copied my unbound boxes, and pasted them into the form design. The problem is, when I select a 2nd or third item, etc., from the drop-down, the previous item(s) change to what's just been selected. I know there is probably an easy fix to this, but with my limited experience, I'm afraid I'm stumped.

Thank you in advance for your time!

Without seeing your dB, it sounds like your combo box is unbound.

You do have at least 2 tables? An Orders table and an OrderDetails table?

I would have guessed the opposite, and that the records are on a continuous or datasheet subform (or possibly a split form). As you probably know, there is only 1 original control on a continuous form - the rest are 'copies'. Change one, and they all change (when they are bound). Usually combos that filter records should not be bound, especially on a continuous/datasheet form.

Controls should be bound.........but I would still like to see the dB......

It doesn't sound like the combo box is filtering - it is selecting items for the order. But I am probably wrong again...
