Dropdown list selection in combo boxes on form losing focus on first click?

I have a form setup with a variety of combo-boxes that are setup to display a drop-down selection of items the user can choose from. On the first click on the combo box (any of the combo boxes on this form, really), the list will display for a fraction of a second, then disappear. The user has to click into the combo box a second time in order for the dropdown list selection to stay visible on the screen long enough to make a selection. Otherwise everything works as expected with the combo boxes.



Any idea how to correct this? It doesn't break any functionality with my form, it is just mildly annoying.

Never experienced this. Likely there is code behind the form or troublesome combos that is causing it. Suggest you start looking there.
Likely wouldn't change anything, but you can try giving the control the focus (by tabbing, assuming it is in the tab order) before clicking on the drop down arrow. If it does behave differently, then my money is certainly on a code issue.
