Missing chart control in Access 365

    Good day everyone.

I have used Access for a number of years but sadly have not used it in the past few months. My skills are rusty to say the least.

I am attempting to create a report using forms but when I go to the Design tab, the chart control does not appear. Is there a setting I can go to and populate controls with the chart object?

    Thanks.

    Jim

In fact there are two chart features in Access 365. The original version in the Design controls tools area and the new modern charts button in the Design ribbon itself.
You should see both. They look fairly similar

Thanks. I cannot believe that I missed the new chart object! However I cannot see the chart object in the controls section.

You may have to click the down arrow to see all the controls

Thanks. I did that earlier but all that shows is the option for using control wizard. I did find the new chartcontrol outside of the controls section though.

As previously mentioned the old chart control is at the end of the second row of the control tools section.
Unless you have a very wide monitor or very high resolution, you need to click the tiny down arrow at the bottom right of that section in order to see all the controls

    Good luck
