Help - Wrong table titles from export databases

I am a beginner with Access.
I have a query where I put data from different sources together.

I have two extracts from SAP

And also a ODBC connection to an already existing Database.

Everytime when I update the datas Access asks me for the parameters of some columns which have a different name to the one in their originall source. For example their is a column in the ODBC DB which is named CURRENCY and access changes this name always to the german meaning of Currency "Währung".

What could be the reason for this???

you could attach the external db as tables, then build an append query to post the source fields to the target table fields.
    this way no spelling changes.

but back to your problem, is your PC access set to a foreign language?

I am from Hamburg. ACCESS is set to German. I thought this could be a reason by I didn't find a solution. Do you have an idea?

Angry ACCESS changes title names from english to german ?!??!

Does anybody knows why ACCESS changes - maybe intern -the names of some of my connected column titles from external DBs from english to german?

The original names are "CURRENCY" which ACCESS changes to "Währung" and "DATE" which ACCESS changes to "Datum" at the end.

So everytime I open the query or export it it asks me for the parameter values

    What are the sources?
What is the SQL of the query?

What format? Text file? CSV file? Excel file?

What is the already existing Database? SQL Server?

An ODBC connection does not have columns - at least none of the ODBC connections I have made have any columns......

How are you updating the data?
If a query, post the SQL of the query.
