Footer Sectioin for Group Does Not Print Always

    Hi:

I have a report structure that has three groups each with a header and footer section. The structure is patterned like this:

    - Page Header (repeating title)
    - Category Header
    - Account Header
    - Detail
    - Account Footer
    - Category Footer (after section page break)
    - Page Footer (date and page info)

The Account Footer contains a text box with the count of the detail records in that section and some other summary information. The problem I am having is that this section disappears on Print Preview and on the printed hard copy when it approaches the bottom of the page. Higher up on the page, the account footer will display for other data in this section. For each section, I have set the Keep Together property to "yes". In Report View, this report and all of the records and section footer information displays correctly.

Any idea how I can get the account footer to print?

    Resolved: Modify Keep Together Setting

    Hi everyone:

I discovered on my own the setting that allowed me to correctly display the footer in the Account Section. In the report design, the bottom pane for the Group, Sort and Total options allows me to refine the Keep Together property to this option: "Keep whole group together on one page". Setting this option with this value forced entire group to the next page when the display of this section's footer might have otherwise been suppressed.

This particular setting is not in the property sheet for the section which was where I was focused on to fix the issue.
