Networking with SQL Server as Back End

I have recently exported all my tables from access to sql server and set them up so that everything works the same as previously with access as back end.
The tables are linked and not imported, just here to find out if anyone knows about a tutorial or can even inform me how i would set-up another computer to connect to the same back-end over a network, and if that computer has to install SQL server as well or can the connection be over the network without installing SQL Server?

and all you need do is copy your Access Frontend app (with the links) to them. (email)

They may need the SQL server client on their PC, but they DO need SQL ODBC.

Thanks for the reply, can't look into it right now, don't have two computers to test it on at the moment.

    Will give feedback asap.

Only thing to note is that the new computer will need the same odbc driver. Chances are it will but first thing to check if you encounter problems

I think i have set up everything for an Sql server to connect over a network but i tried connecting with local ip address along with the port forwarding of 1433 and it connects quickly, when i try on the same local pc that used 127.0.0.1 to connect, i can't connect with my IPv4 and gives the following error message, "Login failed. The login is from an untrusted domain and cannot be used with integrated authentication". Error code: 18452

I have already done similar to the answer on this page :
    https://dba.stackexchange.com/questi...-an-ip-address

I have changed the IP4's IP Address to my ip address, let me know if i should change it back to 127.0.0.1

Don't know if i have done something wrong if anyone can help me make sure i followed all the required steps or direct me to a tutorial to set up sql server on a network?

Please reply to this thread with any new information or opinions.
