Linking a workbook from a sharepoint

    Hi,

Is it possible to link (read-only) a workbook from a sharepoint to a local access database?

Googling returns only linking to a sharepoint list.

    Thank you

I don't know, but very much doubt it. Your access database would need to have 'line of sight' to the excel file which is what happens if you trying linking to a linked table in another access database. Perhaps use SharePoint to store the path to the excel file and have access get that and then link to excel directly.
