    Importing images into Access...rotation problem

Hi there...I am new to Access and could do with a bit of help. I am creating a database for our childcare business and want to import images into one of the tables. I have attached the image I want to use however when I view it on the report the image is displayed rated 90 degrees anti clockwise. I even tried rotating the image 90 degrees clockwise and reloaded it, however, no matter how I save the image it is always displaying the same way, 90 degrees ant clockwise. I'm not conversant with writing code yet, however if someone has a simple solution using code and explains how to do it I'll give it a try!...many thanks in advance!

Is the image in an OLE field?
if so, try viewing the image correctly (in any app), copy,
paste it back in the field, it should stay this way.

Many developers shy away from storing files/pics within the database as it leads to bloating.
Most prefer to store the pictures in a folder and then save the path to the photo as text in the database.
It can then be displayed in an image control.

Thanks for this... Yes I put the image on an OLE field.... Think the problem is maybe that they are mobile phone pics... Have been reading that if you use a portrait mobile phone pic then they can show rotated at 90 degrees. Not normally a prob as software normally resolves this however access doesn't.... Tried opening pic in a picture editor rotated it back and forward then saved it again... When I imported it back into access was correct way up!...(after eating a few hours trying to resolve!).... Thanks for replies
