Checking a Table by month if a task is completed

I'm after a bit of advice, i have a table as below and I have about 20 different aisles that

    require checking each month.
I'd like to start a new form that has something like 20 boxes and each box would highlight green when an aisle is completed (entered into above table) but once you get to the end of the month they would all clear again. (If not automatic then a From/To Date procedure)

For the life of me i cant think of the best way forward which is why im hoping someone can point me in the right direction.

I have some basic VB knowledge but thats about it.

My first thought is a query that returns the last time each aisle was done, with those over xx days ago returned (in other words excluding those done more recently). It would serve as a "due for checking" list. You can use conditional formatting when they're close or overdue. My thought is you don't really care about aisle AB on January 1st if it was last checked on December 31st.

I suppose you could also have a query that compared all aisles to those checked in the current month, using Conditional Formatting to give you your green highlight for those already checked.

I'm gonna have to have a rethink as this seems a bit more complicated than I thought. Gonna change things slightly as I want to have a report of accuracy per aisle which will also show me whether it's done or not
