    sorry, yes it does prompt for File Type but otherwise opens and populates fields correctly .

    I'm using Access 2019 & MSOffice Home and Business 2019 - btw...
    is this a new version issue perhaps?

    did you recreate the macro from scratch as suggested, or even do a compact/repair on the db?

    You might also try the VBA equivalent:

    DoCmd.SendObject acSendNoObject, , , "blah@gmail.com", , , "Test subject", "test body"

    You can get any of the values from a form.

    It does work find but i DO get prompted for file type.....

    I'm using Office and MSAccess 2019 - might this be a version problem? (still working out the kinks)?

    The code in post 18 still prompts for file type? That may be a version issue if so, because I can't replicate it with other versions. If that code is still prompting, I'll dig deeper.
