Using Save Object As in Access 2010

Recently when using "File>Save Object As" to create a new form, the new form does not show up in the Object list until I close and re-open the database. This also happens when I import an object from a different database. Any ideas why this has started to happen?

I don't know the "why" but see if adding this line after that one helps:

    Application.RefreshDatabaseWindow

Actually, I'm using "Save Object As" manually, not in VBA.

I've created a new database and imported everything from the old one, but the problem persists. I have 4 other databases none of which have this problem.

Sorry, I can't think of why that would happen and I can't replicate it.

Maybe 2016 version is different enough that I don't get this
to create a new form, the new form does not show up in the Object list
What "the new form"? If that's a form you just created and want to copy, are you sure you saved it? I'm guessing the "object list" is the nav pane? Is it a saved form that is open (because it has to be open)?
Maybe accurately describe the steps you're taking because I can't replicate the issue in 2016 either.

For clarification: I open a form, query or report in design view. I click File > Save Object As. I give the new object a name, save it and close it. It does not appear in the Nav Pane until I close Access and reopen it. This also happens when I create a table from a make table query unless I'm overwriting an existing table. this behavior started recently. I've used this method for years without a problem.

Works for me. Since you've already started anew and imported everything, a system table or process that refreshes it is likely not the case. I can only suggest copying this db then opening it using the decompile switch, especially since your other db's don't seem to exhibit the behaviour. Kinda grabbing at straws now.
