    3 level query

    Dear All,
Thank you all for your time. I have attached an Access file that I have Frankensteined together. I was building this for my Biomed shop to track our parts. I was wanting to add a Secondary and Tertiary search location to my Form. I.E. I can search for a "description" then a "keyword" and then a "location". Each filtering the results down. So a 3 level deep query. I would like the search to work like the current one does just have 3 areas to type and each one will filter results further. This goes beyond my coding abilities. Thank you all again.Parts Finder Working 11419.zipParts Finder Working 11419.zip

add 3 unbound text boxes to search in each field,
    or
add 1 text box and radio buttons. each radio would search in the 1 field.

I would like to have just another 2 search bars that will search like my current one does. Just a general search but narrowing down the first.

Have a look at the updated file and see if that would help you.

    Cheers,

Vlad I like where you are going with it. I was just hoping to keep how my search will auto filter the whole query live and search all fields. I would like it to do that. Don't know if I'm over reaching simple Access at that point.
