Red face function FORMAT, MID not defined when using in query

    Hi, all.

I was using Access 2003, and installed Access 2007 yesterday. Then I found some of my queries did not work in Access 2007 with error message saying functions not defined, for example function FORMAT, MID etc. Does Access 2007 discontinues these function or I need to install someting else to support these functions?

    Query example:
    select format(now, "yyyymmdd") from table
    or
    select mid("abc",1,2)

    Any suggestion is appreciated.

I would suspect a reference problem:
