Mail Merge in Word using Table in Access as Data Source

I am creating a mail merge in Word using a table in Access as the source data. When I preview the data in the mail merge, the amount of a donation which I am attempting to bring into the merged document appears as 376.76999999999998 when in Access the actual amount is 376.77. I have set the field in Access as a double with two decimal places. I do not see an opportunity in Word to correct this merged field using a round function. Any suggestions short of exporting the table to Excel and then doing the mail merge. All other fields are populated properly.

    Alan

Not sure if it fits Alan, but can you convert to currency or Round with 2 decimal places before doing the merge?
Use a query on the table with the above?
    Just a guess!!!

Thanks Jack. I tried that before posting and it did not work. Anyway, the answer is to modify the mail merge field by clicking on Shift F9 and then appending the following to the mail merge field. \#0.00x

This is solved. Here is a link to how I found it. https://www.lifewire.com/change-word...-merge-3540239

Hi Alan, I expect you know format properties do not change the actual value, so if this is result of a calculation, the actual result is exported. Format, FormatNumber, Round functions do change the value. Unfortunately, I think mail merge doesn't work with queries. So I guess options are:

    1. Use VBA to save rounded value into table when record is committed

    2. Populate a 'temp' table and use that in the mail merge

EDIT: I see you already found a solution on the Word side. Nice.
