    Replicate DOCX In Access Report

I have been out of the access scene for a few years now, and have jumped back in with Access 2016. I want to create a report to print on standard paper (8.5x11) with a header (got this part check!) - and a details section that will have "standard" text and one variable input.

What is the simplest way of me mirroring this word docx file in an access report? I tried a straight copy/paste, but access lost all page widths when I did this and I couldn't get them set back properly.

    I'd try copy/paste into a textbox:

="fixed text" & VariableInput & "more fixed text"

Why mirror it? Why not use a Word Doc?

How do I pass the variable to the text box?

Typically the report would have the desired data in its record source, and that would be the appropriate field name.
