    Check box in report.

    In the attached DB there is a report Rpr_Summary in which the Check Box field NEW does not appear. WHY???

    It's because you haven't added the checkbox control to the detail section of the report.
    See attached DB. I also cleaned up the report a bit, as it was too wide, and some of the textboxes showing ####### because too narrow.

    Good catch, I didn't see that. So my solution has it twice, once visible and once invisible.

    It is very difficult to identify a field whose width is zero. I tried a lot but could not succeed. I then inserted it again.

    Actually, it's not. The property sheet has a combo containing the form or report and every object on it. Choose one and it gets highlighted. You might then need to scroll around to see it, but that's how easy it is.

    For counting the checked NEW fields I put =Count([CHECK23]) but it is giving error.
    How/where do you want the count to appear? For each patient? For each Date? For each Doctor? For the entire Report?

    In report footer I want count of total patients and new patients.
