Creating Multiple Records using one form.

    Hi all,

I am a teacher and I have invested a lot of time into learning the bare basics of databasing in Access 2016.
I have developed my own database and managed to get a single record input using a form...which isn't that hard...as I found.

My goal is to input multiple records at once using only one(1) form.

    I want to:
    • Only have to input the Date, Day, Period, Class, Teacher and Teacher Aide once. on the form.
    • Have a separate section for each student's name, behaviour, assistance given/required, learning progress.

I apologies if there is already a thread containing this information, but I wasn't going to try look through 501 pages of threads, haha.

I appreciate your help and time to answer this thread.

    Cheers,

    Scotty

Do you have only one table? If so, could we see an image of its design view?
If not, then the above image and the relationship diagram for all the tables.

Or skip all that and post the DB.

you can use an append query to add all students from the roster to the class.
    See diagram:
