Emailing with a date as the trigger.

I have 9 e-learning wich are mandatory - some are annual that's every 365 or 730 days. I would like a code to send an email when 30 days to go and when I when I am out of compliance. I have dates in my database when I complete each module. Can this be done using VBA?
