Updating front end design of database

I split my database a few days ago, having the accde version in a public location for my co workers to access and the back end in my section of the public folder since no one else needs to use it. I updated the front end using the accdb version with new forms and reports, is there a specific way I need to update the accde version of the front end?

create a new .accde from your updated .accdb, then send each user a copy of the .accde. Your post is not clear, but it looks like you have your users sharing the front end. This is a big no no and will ultimately lead to corruption.

This is a common topic and there are plenty of threads on this and other forums as to how you might automate the updating of each users front end

I've read multiple posts from Microsoft and posts on here saying that was the best way to make a database multi-user friendly. Do you have a better suggestion?

you should always split the database, even for a single user.

    my point is you said

having the accde version in a public location for my co workers to access
which implies they are sharing the front end. Advice on this and other forums and from Microsoft is that users should not share a front end - they should each have their own copy. So for multi user applications, splitting the database is only half of what you need to do.
