Moving backend of database to new location

My boss is reorganizing the server we have our data on, and when he moves the backend of the database none of my forms, tables, etc. work. How do I change the location of the back end without losing data?

thats fine, but in your Front end (FE) you must remap the tables via RELINK TABLES.
    select all tables,
check always ask for new location,
    select the new server spot.

THEN distribute the FE to all users.
