printing a report with information from a form and subform

    Hi guys,

Basically I copied a report, then using build in properties, I assigned the relevant text boxes to the areas that I needed from the form. Now the data off the main form is coming across fine when I try to print but the data from the subform refuses to come across, the subform area on the report reads as#Name? on the printed report.

Any help would be greatly appreciated as I don't know why this isn't working!!

    thanks, Katie!

    Hey Katie,

I would create a new query, pull in all fields that are required from the main and child tables into the query grid. Save it as rptQuery or what ever, then open your report in design view. In the upper left corner of your report click the small black square. On the data tab change the record source to the new query. If the #Name? problem continues go back into design view and right click on the control with the problem and change its control source to the correct field. With a few tweaks you should be ok
