    Tracking "versions" through development

I'm about to give management an overview of a database I've created for one of our work queues. I only have a few cosmetic tweaks before it's ready to distribute. I've included a table for bugs and future enhancements. I'd like to use this to maintain a version history. I'm looking for something like this... https://cardaconsultants.com/ms-acce...tory-tracking/

I believe one table for the fixes/enhancements to track each step from idea to implementation. One table to aggregate the fixes/enhancements into a minor build number, then a final table to link the minor build to the major build, creating the release.

Does anyone know if this already exists out there in a free version (2010 compatible)? Am I even thinking along the best path?

    TIA

$19.95 is close enough to free - certainly beats the cost of developing it yourself - as long as the paid version is not locked down.
How to attach file: http://www.accessforums.net/showthread.php?t=70301 To provide db: copy, remove confidential data, run compact & repair, zip w/Windows Compression.

I'd agree, but only if I'd get reimbursed for it.
