Same info on reports, different sorting

I'm making reports that all have the same information on them, but each report is created based off a different query. I was wondering if there is an easier way to make multiple reports with the same information but sorted differently without having to make a new query each time, or making a new report/using a template report?

A report has an Order By and Filter fields you can use to order and Filter it's underlying data. You can call the same report and query but set the order by differently each time to suit your needs.

Be aware that the sort order of a query has NO effect on the sort order of a report. Reports have their own sort options.

Or would one sort order do (e.g. Ascending), but apply a filter per report?

BTW, if it's all the same info (i.e. each report has the same fields/sorting/calculations, etc) but different records, one report and one query is the way to go, not several of each. Depending on the need, you filter the query or report as required. The caveat is that if you're previewing, you will have to close and reopen the report between views. Might apply to just printing directly - don't know. The upside is that when boss asks you to tweak the report, you only have to tweak 1 query and/or 1 report, not many.
