    missing functions from ribbon

    Hi Everyone,
it might be a silly question but I cannot figure out how to solve it.
I am using office 2016, and earlier when I used the query design-function I was able to run it from the same window by clicking a function-button on a ribbon. Since a couple of days I cannot find these buttons, therefore I always have close and save my query to run it.
I must have changed some settings in msaccess, but I cannot find out what, and how to unchange it.
    Pls help
    Thank you

looks like you have hidden the ribbon. Not sure if it is the same in 2016, but in 2010 there is a little arrow on the right - it will be pointing down - just click it. The ribbon should appear and the arrow will be pointing up

on any of the ribbon sections (Home, Create, etc) right click and uncheck "Collapse the Ribbon"
